stool in the park communist rant but what the fuck is that disney exec salary? like i know there's plenty who earn much more but lemme close my teeth around this one for a sec because NO ONE's labor costs that. and here i include the usual teacher, garbage pickup, retail, nurses, construction worker convo -they take care of vital tasks with plenty of responsibility and skill (that one could argue matches or surpasses that of one disney exec) but even their labor does not cost that. like what kind of fucked up math goes into that calculation? time + materials + skill equals cost so whomst the fuck is out there saying that their skill and time is worth twenty fucking seven millions?? and who the fuck went yes of course that's what you're worth. NOBODY literally nobody believes that that is a fair rate, they just scribble it on their accounts because they can. i am sooo done arguing with these idiots on economic terms or on whose labor is more vital or necessary. they don't care. money is fake.
